I am delighted to introduce you to Cove School. In these pages we will try to give you an insight into the daily working of the school to enable you to make an informed decision about your child's future. We value our relationship with parents and recognise that it is only by forging strong links between home and school that we can work together most effectively to achieve the best for your child.
Cove and South Hawley Council School opened in June 1877 in the buildings in Fernhill Road now occupied by Cove Junior School. The school transferred to its present site in 1937 where, set in an area of some ten acres, we enjoy a pleasant location with two playing fields. The heart of the school is the original quadrangle which now provides accommodation for the school reception, administration, the English department and library. Over the years the school buildings have been extended and we have many specialist areas and facilities.
